Fees

1. This discussion is to help you decide whether Dr Karim is the right professional to help your child and it will not result in a treatment plan. One preliminary discussion per child.

2. These appointments include a private prescription if required.

3. Dr Karim can only offer repeat prescriptions to patients that she has started on medication or has agreed to take over prescribing responsibility for.

  • Initial appointments include a detailed letter sent to your GP with details of a treatment plan, a letter sent to you and a private prescription if needed

  • Follow-up appointments include a letter sent to your GP, a letter sent to you and a private prescription if needed

  • ADHD assessments include electronic questionnaires (e.g., for teachers, for parents), an in-person observational assessment, a QB Check (where appropriate) and developmental history and a detailed report with a telephone call to talk you through it

  • ASD and ADHD assessments include electronic questionnaires (e.g., for teachers, for parents), a developmental history (by Videoconference), a QB Check (where appropriate), an in-person multidisciplinary structured ADOS assessment carried out by both Dr Karim and a Clinical Psychologist and a detailed report with a telephone call to talk you through it

For self-funding patients, fees are due in advance of each appointment and can be paid by credit or debit card or bank transfer. For patients with private medical insurance, Dr Karim is registered with the majority of private medical insurers (except for AXA PPP), including BUPA, Cigna, WPA, Vitality and Aviva.
